The School Leadership Conference 2022 | Brisbane

Take "Audacious Action" at The School Leadership Conference 2022.

Great leaders have a bias for action.
They recognise that taking action provides opportunity for faster learning and represents deliberate movement towards a purposeful goal. Audacious actors don’t wait for the perfect solution, or to develop a foolproof plan, they dream and then do something about it. When there is a choice, choose action over inaction.

Creating a Thriving Challenge Culture - Getting Beyond ’Nice'.  We often struggle with moving out of a place of "nice" or "stuck" to a dynamic, robust environment where challenging the status quo and deeply reflecting on our own practice is the norm. This dynamism creates a buzz of forward momentum and shift. Engage in a masterclass that will give you practical and actionable steps to lift the culture in your school to a place of deep and authentic collective efficacy. Participants will receive access to the Buzz Diagnostic, a whole school aggregated report on how your staff see the Collaborative Learning Culture at your school, as well as a special QASSP access opportunity to The Buzz Academy.

Gill Hicks AM is a woman who considers herself lucky to even be alive. Gill lost both her legs from below the knee as a result of the London bombings of July 2005. On that morning, she had to find the inner strength to not only fight for her life, but to learn to walk again using prosthetic legs. Since that day Gill has been determined to make her life count – to really make a difference for world peace. And make a difference she has. She uses her experience to do all she can to deter anyone from following a path of violent action. She is a firm believer that we all have the strength and ability to make a difference and to create a world that is peaceful.
